"Abuse of Official Powers" by Police and Courts issuing warrants based on false evidence at secret court hearings without the defendant. (Top)
Despite of having nominated (several times!) the driver of a company vehicle the company had 2 warrants issued for "failure to nominate the driver" and this without being notified of any court case relating to the matter and this despite of the fact that one of the two fines (for speeding - which is disputed as it was very marginal) was issued by the police to the nominated driver (He is an overseas visitor who took over driving on the way back from Adelaide and the company director was sitting next to him and can confirm that he was not speeding!). Despite of having applied for these warrants to be revoked (which were obtained based on complete falsification of the facts by the Police and without any opportunity for anyone to prove this in court) the company has now received a letter from the Sheriff about an outstanding warrant with the usual threats that would intimidate most people. This shows an unbelievable audacity by the police and the courts working in tandem in a totally unacceptable manner that can only be called "Abuse of Official Powers". It should be exposed and publicly condemned as an endemic symptom of practices comparable only to those of Police States of an era we don't want to be reminded off. We can not accept this sort of thing in our society and we must make them stop such offensive bullying tactics. The police is assuming more and more powers whilst corruption within their midst is flourishing. We cannot afford to let the courts become a tool of corrupt practices and money raising using false accusations and fraudulent procedures.
